I read your story a few years back and ...Hi Again,

I read your story a few years back and thought it was amazing.

Have you written anything else about your experience?

KHKHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08290824641074718665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580248325313566390.post-24077123574214477692009-12-14T16:25:26.610-05:002009-12-14T16:25:26.610-05:00Hello “Nice Jewish Boy“
I read some of your story!...Hello “Nice Jewish Boy“
I read some of your story!
My name is Anders Branderud and I am also a former Christian.

I would like to comment on a quote you wrote:
You wrote:“Also, do we really think gentile people suffering in gulags, prisons, from drugs, etc. are going to become Orthodox Jews, start keeping kosher, stop working on the Sabbath? Of course not. This is another reason Christianity succeeded and continues to enjoy success. It offers the one true God of Judaism without the perceived burdens of Judaism—circumcision, obedience to the Torah and the like. It offers a get out of hell free card. Why shouldn’t people believe it? If they’re asking the questions that Christianity has the answers to—then those answers will satisfy them. At least for a while anyway..”

A logical proof in the website of Netzarim (click on the page Jews) proves that all of humankind are obligated to keep Torah non-selectively.

Devarim 13:1-6 One should not remove mitzwot from Torah.

The tradition that goyim are not obligated to keep more than Sheva Mitzwot Benei Noakh are a tradition with no foundation in Torah (read more in the above website; “History Museum”; then click on “Benei Noakh” in the top menu).

To teach that Christians are not obligated to Torah fools them to walk a path which is not the path ha-Sheim (the Creator if some person reads this that don’t understand) wants them to walk on.

Lastly, the best way to make a Christian start following the way of ha-Sheim is to give him our website (above). The website shows that the first century Jew Ribi Yehoshua was a Torah-teacher; and that his teachings later was redacted into Christianity. It shows to a Christian that he/she is not currently following the person who he/she thought he/she followed, instead they are following the anti-Torah counterfeit J*esus.

All the best, Anders BranderudAnders Branderudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15696376904417632753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580248325313566390.post-81217812455089371642009-10-08T14:04:55.319-04:002009-10-08T14:04:55.319-04:00Hi there!

I'm not Jewish, but for many years was a devout Christian believing in all the usual things.

About 3 years ago I started to see problems with basic Christian doctrine and with the NT generally. In particular, I came to see that even the NT doesn't consistently present Jesus as G-d at all, but that this was a later development. Also, Jesus couldn't have been Mashiach if he were virgin-born, since the Tanakh indicates that all of the Davidic kings were blood descendants of David - a legal adoption, as Christians assume occurred, just doesn't cut it. Furthermore, there is nothing in Tanakh that suggests that man is helpless in fighting sin and needs G-d's help in the form of His "Son". The approach of Judaism, as backed up by Tanakh, makes far more sense: man is responsible for his OWN redemption, he's not helpless at all, but has the power to overcome his "dark side". This hit me like a ton of bricks when I first became aware of it!

In summary, my main problem with Christianity is that it is not fairly based on Tanakh, as it claims to be, but that Tanakh (and Judaism) and Christianity are totally different "systems".

Anyway, I'm now in the process of converting to Judaism, and feel that I have reached "home".

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us!

PeterJonSebastian48https://www.blogger.com/profile/12207609252707996420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580248325313566390.post-15090729611254901552009-10-08T14:04:37.121-04:002009-10-08T14:04:37.121-04:00Hi there!
